前十字靭帯（ACL）再建術後のリハビリテーションには長期間を要することが周知される一方，競技復帰に向けて加速化が図られている．最近では回復度合いや競技レベルなどに応じたリハビリテーションが一般的になってきている．しかしながら，術後に内側広筋を中心とした筋萎縮の発症について多くの報告があり，この防止が ACL 再建術後のリハビリテーションの検討課題のひとつである．筋萎縮の要因として，再建靭帯の生体への適合までの期間は，再断裂リスクなどの観点から，膝関節に対するリハビリテーションに限界があることが挙げられる．そこで今回，低周波電気刺激を用い，ACL 再建術後の筋機能低下に対する新たなリハビリテーションメニューの構築を目的とし，拮抗筋電気刺激による遠心性収縮を伴う運動連鎖筋力増強法を ACL 再建術後のアスレティックリハビリテーションに応用し，その効果を検討した．その結果，通常のアスレティックリハビリテーションに比べ，本法を用いた場合に筋トルク，神経筋協調性，筋体積の回復に効果的な結果が得られた．このことから，本法は
