Electromyography （sEMG）を用いた頸部活動の定量化は、Nonspecific Neck Pain (NSNP)の病態把握と客観的評価の確立に繋がるが、sEMGを用いた頸部伸・屈筋群の系統的な研究は皆無であった。そこで、NSNPの病態把握と客観的治療評価の構築を目的として、まず健常成人の前頭面、矢状面、水平面上での頸部伸・屈筋群のsEMGの活動を明らにした（Medicina. 2022;58(6):728.）。次いで、その研究で確立した方法と結果を基にしてNSNP患者の頸部伸・屈筋群のsEMGを測定し、NSNP患者における頸部筋活動の増大とそのインバランスな状態を明らかにした（Medicina. 2022;58(12):1770.）。\n【方法】対象は、NSNP患者と健常成人それぞれ２４名とした。各被験者の基本姿勢（中間位）保持時と屈曲、伸展、左右側屈、左右回旋時（基本姿勢から最大可動域までをPhaseⅠ、最大可動域を保持をPhaseⅡ、最大可動域から基本姿勢までをPhaseⅢとした）の頸部伸筋群と屈筋群の表面筋電図を記録した。各動作時の筋活動は最大随意収縮(maximal voluntary contraction: MVC)時の筋活動で除した%MVCとして正規化した。その後、各動作時の伸筋群及び屈筋群の%MVCを基本姿勢の%MVCで除した①基本姿勢からの変化率(計36フェーズ)と屈筋群の%MVCを伸筋群の%MVCで除した②屈筋伸筋比(計21フェーズ)の２つの筋活動比を算出した。\n【結果】基本姿勢からの変化率は全36フェーズ中２８フェーズにおいて、NSNP患者は健常成人よりも有意に大きかった(p < 0.05)。また、屈筋伸筋比は全21フェーズ中6フェーズにおいて、NSNP患者は健常成人よりも有意に大きかった(p <
